Luminous (decompiled)

I have made it a goal to figure out what else can be done with this program and what variables are needed with each command and function.
A cursory look at the program in notepad reveals quite a few objects and phrases not in the samples provided by the designer.
As far as I can tell there are no other tutorials on this program.
Any input would be appreciated.

Lumastorm

In memory of my poor lumastorm I have these pictures from some years ago when it actually worked.
Please enjoy and use as you want to.

Explosion Animator

I still don't have an animated gif maker but I still think these are neat.

Heres the latest image after a few hours of tweaking.

And here's a closeup of that image. The yellow ring is clearly visible spreading out from left to right. The ring starts around the middle of the set and the whole thing fades after it reaches the edge.

Along with explosions and hazy spirals, Luminous can create geometric randomized images as shown here.

Orange Core

This is the same file with the arms brightened and thinned out.

It's more like a star forming in a cloud than a galaxy.

Transcendence history

George Moromisato has posted the original release of the Transcendence game on his site here.
I hope to try it soon after I get home to see where it began.

Dark Galaxy 4

Zoomed in at five times original and tilted fourty-five degrees.

This image took eleven minutes to render.

Dark Galaxy

Zoomed in version of the previous image almost three times closer.

Couls possible be a star forming instead of a galaxy.

Dark Galaxy

After a little more tweaking I came up with the following.

I reduced the core size and brightened it up a little

I also added an arm to the spiral and made them lighter and thinner.

Dark Galaxy

A darker galaxy playing with the colors and density. The dark purple is enhanced with the obligatory starfield and the burnt orange center gives a hint of underlying heat.

Explosions!

Another great image made from Luminous.

I know they look the same but just in case you wanted the bmp instead of the jpg.

Still need to put them into an animated gif

Fun with Luminous.!

I have played Transcendence for some time now but hasn't really checked the other links of George Moromisato's site. I have to say that the image creator he has made is a ball to play around with. I just wish there were more tutorials on what it can do.

I wanted a good screen background (double monitor) and came up with the following image

You can still see in the bottom right corner how long it took to render it.

The black background is perfect for NOT loosing my icons.
